Job summary

AMS, in partnership with a leading client in the technology industry, is seeking an experienced Recruiter to support hiring across Romania and neighbouring markets. You will manage end-to-end recruitment, partner with Hiring Managers, and deliver high-quality talent experiences in a fast-paced, international environment.

Responsibilities include developing sourcing strategies across IT and technology roles, running interviews, presenting shortlists, and maintaining compliant data.

Qualifications

• Strong end-to-end recruitment expertise with multi-position ownership.
• Ability to recruit in IT/tech and gaming with market insight.
• Excellent stakeholder management and consultation skills.
• Fluency in English and Romanian is essential.

Job description

AMS, in partnership with a leading client in the technology industry, is looking to bring on board an experienced Recruiter to support hiring across Romania and neighbouring markets.

This is an opportunity for an end-to-end recruitment professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, international environment and partnering closely with Hiring Managers to attract and secure high-quality talent. You will take ownership of your recruitment portfolio while providing market insights, sourcing expertise and a consistently high-quality experience for candidates and stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities:

• Managing end-to-end recruitment processes, from initial role briefing and sourcing strategy through to assessment and offer.
• Partnering closely with Hiring Managers and senior stakeholders, understanding their hiring needs and providing consultative recruitment support throughout the process.
• Developing and executing effective sourcing and talent attraction strategies across IT, technology, gaming and a range of professional and specialist positions.
• Proactively identifying and engaging talent through direct sourcing, market mapping, networking and other relevant sourcing channels.
• Delivering high-quality candidate shortlists, providing clear recommendations and relevant market context to support informed hiring decisions.
• Providing Hiring Managers with talent market insights, helping to shape realistic recruitment strategies and manage expectations.
• Ensuring an excellent candidate and Hiring Manager experience through proactive communication, regular updates and effective process management.
• Maintaining accurate recruitment data and ensuring systems are kept up to date and compliant.
• Delivering against agreed SLAs, KPIs and team objectives, while maintaining a strong focus on quality and service delivery.

Skills & Requirements:

• Strong end-to-end recruitment expertise, with the ability to independently manage multiple recruitment processes.
• Experience recruiting within IT, technology and/or gaming, as well as a range of professional and specialist functions, with a good understanding of both technical and broader talent markets, is desired.
• Experience supporting recruitment across Romania & European markets and confidence working within an international environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with Hiring Managers and senior stakeholders.
• Strong sourcing and talent identification capabilities, particularly for specialist and hard-to-fill technology positions.
• Strong candidate interviewing and assessment skills, ideally including competency-based interviewing.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative and consultative approach.
• A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with the confidence to challenge, advise and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage competing requisitions, stakeholders and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Full professional fluency in English & Romanian, both written and spoken.
