Hitachi Energy’s Research Center in Krakow is seeking an R&D Operational Specialist – Experimental Research, Testing and Measurements. In this hands-on role you will support cutting-edge research by conducting advanced laboratory measurements, operating specialized equipment, and generating high-quality experimental data that underpin new energy technologies.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and testing systems.
• Experience in experimental methods and material characterization.
• Fluent English; ability to work in interdisciplinary, international teams.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment for material characterization and testing.
• Design, prepare, and execute experimental tests across technical domains.
• Perform mechanical, thermal, electrical, and vibroacoustic measurements.
• Analyze results and ensure data quality and traceability.
• Support experiment design, sample prep, and test setup.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, procedures and quality standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver experimental solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of laboratory methods and knowledge sharing.
