Job summary

Michael Page seeks an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead QA processes in a fast-moving consumer goods environment. You will develop QC procedures, conduct audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold product quality and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 3–5 years in a managerial or specialist QA position within the food industry, with hands-on experience in ISO, HACCP, and related standards, and strong leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of ISO, HACCP, BRCGS, IFS, FSC, RSPO and SMETA standards.
  • Proven leadership, performance oversight and team development.
  • Budget preparation and monitoring experience.
  • Ability to deputize for Laboratory Manager when required.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Job Description

The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Food Technology, Commodity Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in a managerial or independent specialist role within the food industry.
  • Strong expertise in Quality Management Systems and Food Safety Management Systems, supported by auditor qualifications and hands-on experience with ISO, HACCP, BRCGS, IFS, FSC, RSPO, and SMETA standards.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams, including performance oversight, people development, and operational coordination.
  • Experience in budget preparation, management, and monitoring, preferably within a laboratory or quality-focused environment.
  • Ability to serve as a deputy for the Laboratory Manager/Laboratory Lead when required, ensuring business continuity and operational effectiveness.
  • Strong training and presentation skills, with experience in developing training materials and delivering employee training programs.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
