Job summary

Markem-Imaje in Warszawa seeks an Environmental Health, Safety and Quality Coordinator to ensure compliance of Quality and EHS systems with global standards and corporate policies. You will support system processes, lead audits, and resolve non-conformities while ensuring customer satisfaction in questionnaires and quality contracts.

You will manage document control, publish system documents, and help map QEHS processes across global/local sites.

Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Quality, EHS, Supply Chain Management, or similar discipline.
  • Fluent in Polish and English.
  • Knowledge of PDCA, process approach and risk management.
  • Experience with ISO9001, 14001, 45001; food safety experience is a plus.
  • General knowledge of EHS, OSHA, EPA and applicable international laws.
  • Experience with audit processes.
  • Proven problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills (5 Whys, 8D).
  • Experience with project management and LEAN tools.
  • Ability to draft technical documents and manage documentation.
  • Experience with international teams is preferred.
  • MS Office; JIRA & SAP familiarity.
  • Strong analytical and independent work skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage global EHS and Quality, Document and Forms Control.
  • Administrate global EHS and Quality document management tool, publish documents.
  • Support writing and revising global EHS and Quality documents.
  • Create and maintain global/local QEHS & FS process mapping and inventories.
  • Build and deploy internal/external audit programs; conduct root cause analyses and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate ISO9001, 14001, 45001 & BRC certification programs and manage reviews.
  • Develop training material and conduct training on quality and EHS systems.
  • Prepare answers to customer questionnaires and quality agreements; manage complex requests.
  • Lead customer audits from request to audit realization and action follow-up.
  • Perform audits, trainings, root-cause analyses, and reports for QEHS programs; ensure compliance with laws.
  • Update monthly/quarterly indicators and counter-measures; participate in QEHS projects.

Job description

The Environmental Health Safety and Quality Coordinator oversees compliance of our Quality Systems and EHS systems with corporate policies, ensuring compliance with Global Standards, Dover requirements, and customer requirements.

What you’ll do:

You will support the overall implementation of the systems management processes, the Quality and EHS documents, execution of the annual internal and external audit programs, the resolution of non-conformities and customer satisfaction for the Questionnaires or Customer Quality Contracts.

  • Manage global EHS and Quality, Document and Forms Control.
  • Administrate global EHS and Quality Document management tool, Publish system-related documents
  • Support writing and revising global EHS and Quality documents.
  • Create and maintain the global and local mapping and inventory of QEHS & FS processes
  • Build and deploy the global and local internal and external audit program, conduct root cause analyses, coordinate corrective actions for non-conformities and QEHS & FS risk assessment and audits
  • Coordinate ISO9001,4001,45001 & BRC certification program (Management of Reviews, risk management, audits, improvement action plans). Contribute to global program (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 & BRC).
  • Develop training material and conduct training sessions to develop the company’s quality system, Food safety system and EHS System culture
  • Customer Requests: Prepare the answers to Customer Questionnaire request. Lead the process for complex Customer Questionnaire and Quality Agreement requests, coordinating actions from defining which experts must provide the answers to the validation and signature process management before answering to customers. Lead the process of coordinating Customer audit requests from request acceptation to the audit realization and the follow up of the action plan.
  • Perform various assessments, audits, trainings, root cause analysis, and reports related to QHSE programs and policies, as well as enforce all legal and customer requirements.
  • Update monthly or quarterly indicators and analyses discrepancies, draw-up counter-measure plans.
  • Participate to the Local and Global Quality and EHS system projects.
What you need to have:
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Quality, EHS, Supply Chain Management, or similar discipline with experience in Quality, EHS-Systems
  • Fluent in both Polish and English
  • Knowledge of PDCA, process approach and risk management
  • Previous experience with the ability to explain and apply ISO9001,14001, 45001; Food safety experience will be a plus.
  • General knowledge of EHS, OSHA, EPA and applicable international Laws
  • Previous experience with audit process
  • Proven experience of problem solving /incident investigation tools (5 Whys, cause analysis/troubleshooting tree, 8D problem solving, REX)
  • Previous experience with project management and LEAN tools
  • Knowledge of rules for drafting technical documents and document management
  • Experience working with international teams, preferred.
  • Proficient in MS office suite and experience working with JIRA & SAP
  • Knowledge of risk management tools and practices
  • Autonomous, structured, rigorous and results focused with the ability to work independently and within a team environment. Must have strong analytical skills.
