Job summary

Swire Renewable Energy is seeking Quality Inspectors for Pre-Assembly Projects in APAC and Europe. You will perform quality inspections, verify OEM standards, and document findings to support site teams. This long-term, project-based role offers rotation patterns and exposure to global wind energy installations.

Applicants should have wind industry inspection experience, pre-assembly/project experience, and relevant certificates (GWO BST, BTT). Strong English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quality Inspector within the wind industry.
• Experience on pre-assembly, installation, commissioning, or service projects.
• Good understanding of quality standards, inspection procedures, and reporting systems.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and drawings.
• Good English communication skills.
• Certifications (GWO BST, BTT) are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections during pre-assembly activities on wind turbine components.
• Verify compliance with project specifications, quality requirements, and OEM standards.
• Inspect mechanical installations and completed work packages.
• Identify, document, and report non-conformities.
• Support corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality documentation.
• Collaborate with supervisors, technicians, and client representatives to ensure high quality.

• Pre-assembly scope of work: quality inspections, quality verification, documentation review, and support to site teams


• Contract type: B2B


• Projects located across APAC and Europe


• Long-term opportunities with the possibility of joining consecutive projects


• Rotation pattern depending on project requirements

Requirements

• Experience as a Quality Inspector within the wind industry


• Experience on pre-assembly, installation, commissioning, or service projects


• Experience with V236 turbines is preferred


• Good understanding of quality standards, inspection procedures, and reporting systems


• Ability to interpret technical documentation and drawings


• Good English communication skills


• Valid GWO BST, BTT certificates


• Additional industry certificates will be considered an advantage
