Job summary

Tradevest GmbH in Warsaw is seeking a QA engineer to join a fast-growing, BaFin-licensed fintech infrastructure provider. You will test multiple platforms—from APIs and web apps to mobile apps—and contribute to automated regression suites in a hybrid office setting.

You’ll collaborate with developers, analysts, and clients to refine user stories, define acceptance criteria, and improve product quality. A detail-oriented mindset and eagerness to learn trading markets and regulatory requirements

Your role

In this role, you’ll join a fast-growing, BaFin-licensed digital financial infrastructure provider building a unified platform for trading, custody, and management of traditional and digital assets. Based in our Warsaw engineering hub, you’ll work in a hybrid setup with regular in-person collaboration, contributing to scalable, high-impact financial systems used by banks, wealth managers, neobrokers, and fintechs across Europe. You’ll have real ownership over your work, helping shape robust products in a professional yet relaxed environment.

Your mission and responsibilities

Your qualifications and experience

• Experience in manual and automated testing across APIs, web applications, and mobile apps.
• A meticulous, detail-oriented approach — in fintech, the details matter!
• Ability to quickly understand complex business domains and translate requirements into thorough test strategies.
• Strong communication skills — you'll work with developers, business analysts, and external clients.
• A proactive mindset — our QA engineers are not just testers, they're active participants in shaping the product.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt — you’ll ramp up quickly on trading markets, financial regulations, and platform-specific knowledge.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in fintech, banking, or other regulated industries
• Understanding of EU trading markets and associated regulations (MiFID II, KYC/AML)
• Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Playwright, or similar)
• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, or similar)
• Experience with BDD frameworks (Ginkgo/Gomega, Cucumber, or similar)
