Job summary

Travelplanet.pl, an e-commerce platform in Wrocław, is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer. You will design and implement both manual and automated test cases for our web and backend services, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

With at least 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, you will engage in the continuous improvement of our QA processes and support the development workflow through exploratory and regression testing. Join us for a competitive salary and flexible working hours!

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and backend services
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Playwright (or Cypress)
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure quality throughout the SDLC
  • Identify, log, and track bugs, and proactively drive root‑cause analysis and resolution
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, test coverage, and automation practices
  • Analyze requirements and specifications to ensure testability and identify potential quality risks early
  • Participate in code reviews and provide input on testability and test coverage
  • Self‑organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in an agile environment
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on both manual and automated testing.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with test automation tools and frameworks, particularly Playwright or Cypress
  • Strong manual testing skills, including exploratory, regression, and edge case testing.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and tools like Postman or curl for API‑level validation.
  • Basic understanding of Go‑based backends to support test design and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the development workflow
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
  • A passion for quality and a strong attention to detail
Nice to have
  • More experience in back‑end services automation rather than purely front‑end automation
  • Experience with SEO/SEA is a big plus
