Job summary

Wakacje.pl, part of the AmRest group, is seeking a tester to help ensure the quality of our main e-commerce platform (Web and API). The role focuses on manual testing (about 70%) and building automated tests using Java, Selenium, RestAssured, and Playwright.

You will create test cases, document defects, collaborate with developers, and contribute to test strategy. English proficiency is required to read technical docs and work with CRM/e-commerce testing knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in testing principles, techniques, and SDLC.
• Ability to create test cases and documentation, and report defects.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Good written and spoken English for technical documentation.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

• Manual testing (min. 70% FTE)
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated tests for our main e-commerce platform (Web and API)
• Writing and executing automated test scenarios using Java, Selenium, RestAssured, and Playwright
• Performing manual exploratory testing when needed to ensure comprehensive quality coverage
• Creating and maintaining test documentation, test cases, and bug reports
• Identifying, reporting, and tracking defects in collaboration with development teams
• Contributing to test strategy and improving test coverage across the project
• Participating in team work planning and test effort estimation
• Analyzing test results and reporting quality metrics to stakeholders
• Collaborating with developers, other QA engineers, and business teams throughout the development lifecycle
• Sharing testing knowledge and helping to improve team's quality practices

Requirements:

• At least2-4 years of experiencein a Tester role,
• Experience in testingCRM and/or e-commerce applications,
• Ability to create test cases and documentation, as well as report and analyze defects,
• Knowledge of testing principles, techniques, and processes, as well as the software development lifecycle,
• Familiarity with testing tools,
• Experience working with Postman,
• Basic knowledge of the HTTP protocol and REST APIs,
• Strong analytical thinking skills, attention to detail, and curiosity,
• Highly developed communication skills,
• First experience in writing automated tests and a willingness to further develop in this area,
• Knowledge of English enabling comfortable use of technical documentation,

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming (Java/C#),
• Taking the first steps in software test automation, preferably using Selenium or Playwright
• Experience with or willingness to participate in the implementation and maintenance of automated tests (Web/API),
• Ability to prepare automated test scenarios, e.g. using BDD approaches such as Cucumber or Gherkin.
