Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to manage operational purchasing for Cubic Polska, handling direct production and indirect categories. You will report to the Plant Manager and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure timely orders and optimal supplier performance.

Responsibilities include supplier selection, price negotiations, and ERP system support while driving cost efficiencies and inventory optimization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience purchasing (preferably in a manufacturing environment).
• Knowledge of purchasing processes and the supply chain.
• Experience negotiating with suppliers.
• Good command of English (at least B2).
• Knowledge of Excel.
• Work with an ERP system preferred AX Dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing process management (requests for proposals, negotiations, orders).
• Selection and development of suppliers (local and foreign), market analysis and search for alternative supply sources.
• Negotiate prices, commercial terms, and delivery dates.
• Monitor delivery and responding to delays.
• Collaboration with production, warehouse, finance and planning.
• Improve purchasing costs and inventory levels.
• Support for ERP systems (e.g., AX/SAP).
• Report purchasing goals.
• Manage document flow.
