Woodward Poland Sp. z o.o is seeking a dedicated Purchasing/Supply Chain professional to build strong supplier relationships, manage POs, and optimize inventory levels in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires English and Polish fluency, a relevant bachelor's degree, and experience in negotiating favorable terms with suppliers. You will collaborate with ERP, operations, and logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow and cost-effective purchasing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Negotiation experience with suppliers to ensure best value.
• Analyze market trends, pricing data, inventory levels, and supplier performance to support informed purchasing decisions.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of requirements and expectations.
• Manage purchase orders, contracts, supplier data, and inventory records with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to support a reliable supply chain and secure favorable terms.
• Prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines and business objectives.
• Identify supply chain issues and implement practical solutions to maintain smooth operations.
• Use procurement, ERP, inventory management, and operations software to streamline purchasing processes.
• Understand supply chain, logistics, and manufacturing processes, including the flow of materials into finished products.
• Develop and monitor inventory controls, including stock limits and replenishment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply, on-time delivery, and consistent product quality.
• Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and on time, ensuring all required approvals are obtained.
• Monitor inventory levels, identify purchasing needs, and help prevent stock shortages or excess inventory.
• Support cost analysis and negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to achieve cost-effective purchasing solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier information, purchase orders, and transactions in the company’s procurement system.
• Coordinate with ERP, operations, and logistics teams to support the flow of materials through the manufacturing process into finished products.
• Identify supply chain issues and implement effective solutions to maintain smooth and efficient operations.
