Zusammenfassung

MSD is seeking a Procurement professional at the Wrzesnia site to handle day-to-day purchasing, PO creation, supplier coordination and delivery follow-ups. You will work closely with Planning, Production, Warehouse and Finance to ensure smooth procurement operations.

This role requires a university degree and experience in purchasing or supply chain; knowledge of SAP MM will be an advantage. Hybrid work arrangements are available in Wrzesnia, Poland.

Qualifikationen

• University degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Experience in purchasing, supply chain, planning or logistics is an advantage.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.

Job Description Department / Site: Supply Chain / AH Technology Solutions / Wrzesnia, Poland.

ROLE & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute day-to-day purchasing activities for assigned materials, goods and services.
• Create, maintain and follow up purchase orders & invoices in accordance with business requirements and applicable procurement processes.
• Monitor supplier order confirmations, open purchase orders and agreed delivery dates.
• Proactively follow up with suppliers on delayed, incomplete or discrepant deliveries.
• Support continuity of supply by identifying potential shortages and delivery risks and escalating them when required.
• Maintain regular operational communication with suppliers regarding availability, lead times and deliveries.
• Obtain quotations and support the comparison of supplier offers when required.
• Cooperate with Planning, Production, Warehouse, Quality, Finance and other relevant internal stakeholders.
• Support the resolution of purchase order, delivery and invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier-related data and documentation in the relevant company systems.
• Support routine supplier performance monitoring, procurement reporting and analysis.
• Participate in cost-efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives within Procurement and Supply Chain.
• Perform purchasing activities in accordance with applicable company policies, procedures and compliance requirements.
• Preparation of statutory reports required by law based on Procurement department operations (GUS, OPAK, etc).
• Providing operational support to the Planning Department in day-to-day activities.
• Procurement (Purchasing) within the SAP Procure-to-Pay process, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, supplier management, invoice processing, and payment workflows.
• At the request of his/her supervisor, he/she may be required to carry out ad hoc missions related to his/her responsibilities.

• Recurring knowledge: Good command of English, SAP (MM module).

Minimum education or Equivalent experience

• University degree or relevant professional education, preferably in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Initial professional experience in purchasing, supply chain, logistics, planning or a related area would be an advantage.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
