Job summary

PerkinElmer in Krakow, Poland, seeks a Supplier Transition Specialist for a 4-month fixed-term contract. The role focuses on supplier onboarding, cross-functional coordination, and cost-effective purchasing to sustain uninterrupted operations.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field, at least 1 year in Purchasing/Procurement, strong English, and excellent analytical and communication skills to collaborate with international suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, or Management preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or Strategic Sourcing.
• Very good English, spoken and written.
• Able to work in a team and individually with integrity.
• Strong communicator with cross-department collaboration.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills; proficient with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier communications for entity changes and onboarding.
• Coordinate onboarding across Accounts Payable, Quality, Legal and others.
• Execute purchasing and sourcing to support operations cost-effectively.
• Obtain, evaluate, and negotiate quotations with suppliers.
• Maintain supplier data and ensure audit-ready records.
• Track onboarding progress and mitigate risks to keep timelines.

Job Description

We are looking for a Supplier Transition Specialist with English language skills . The person will support the OneSource team .

Hybrid working model , Krakow, Quattro Business Park (3-day office)

Fixed-term contract (4 months)

Role description:

• Lead supplier communications related to organizational and legal entity changes, ensuring suppliers complete all required onboarding activities and are fully prepared to transact within established project timelines.
• Coordinate supplier onboarding and setup activities across cross-functional teams, including Accounts Payable, Quality, Legal, and other key stakeholders to ensure timely completion of requirements.
• Execute purchasing and sourcing activities in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner to support uninterrupted business operations and service delivery.
• Obtain, evaluate, and negotiate quotations from approved suppliers and service providers, ensuring alignment with quality standards, compliance requirements, and cost objectives.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier data within company systems, ensuring data integrity, audit readiness, and adherence to corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
• Track supplier onboarding progress, identify potential risks and delays, and proactively drive resolution to ensure successful project execution.

Role requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, or Management preferred
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or Strategic Sourcing, preferably within the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector
• Very good level of English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and as an individual
• High level of integrity and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with international suppliers
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
