Job summary

Alstom is seeking a Project Planning Manager in Chorzów to lead the creation, follow-up, and updates of complex project schedules. You’ll synchronize planning across teams including engineering and production and perform systematic critical path analyses to identify risks impacting schedules.

You will report on project progress, collaborate with cross-functional teams across sites, and implement best practices in time management to ensure timely delivery of projects.

Qualifications

• Higher education, preferably in a technical or managerial field.
• Professional experience in the industry.
• Knowledge of project management and industrial production processes.
• Proficiency in English (good to advanced level).
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, IPMA, Prince2).
• Experience as a member of a project core team or as a project manager.
• Proficiency with IT tools such as MS Office and MS Project.

Your future role

You\'ll play a key role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of complex projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including project management, engineering, and production teams), oversee synchronization of planning processes, and conduct systematic critical path analyses to identify risks impacting project schedules.

You’ll specifically take care of creating, following up on, and updating project schedules for all options in firm and forecast status, but also contribute to regular reporting within project and site organizations.
