Job summary

Alstom is seeking a full-time Line Manager in Chorzów to lead production lines, coordinate planning, and drive continuous improvement using APSYS and Lean methods. You will collaborate with EPU managers, production planners, and quality teams to meet deadlines while ensuring safety and efficiency.

The role emphasizes strong English communication, leadership of a subordinate team, and knowledge of quality/Lean tools to optimize production metrics and labor compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Experience or understanding of production planning and organization.
• Familiarity with production metrics and their analysis.
• Communicative English and strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Practical knowledge of quality and lean manufacturing tools.
• Knowledge of Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to manage and lead a subordinate team effectively.
• Knowledge of labor law, particularly regarding working time calculation.

Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (EPU managers, production planners, and quality assurance teams), manage and optimize the production process according to plan, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production standards—and much more.
