Job summary

Alstom in Chorzów is seeking a dedicated Project Planning Manager to drive the creation, tracking, and updating of project schedules across firm and forecast status. You will work with engineering, production and management teams to ensure timely delivery and clear reporting.

You will lead planning synchronization, perform critical path analyses to identify risks, and promote best practices in project time management while supporting cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Higher education in a technical or managerial field.
  • Experience in the industry.
  • Knowledge of project management and industrial production processes.
  • Proficiency in English (good to advanced level).
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (PMI, IPMA, Prince2).
  • Experience as a member of a project core team or as a project manager.
  • Proficiency with IT tools such as MS Office and MS Project.

Responsibilities

  • Create, follow up, and update project schedules for all options in firm and forecast status.
  • Coordinate planning synchronization within the project.
  • Perform systematic critical path analyses to identify schedule risks.
  • Provide regular reporting within project and site organizations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and progress.

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your time management and project planning expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside goal-oriented and dynamic teammates.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of complex projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including project management, engineering, and production teams), oversee synchronization of planning processes, and conduct systematic critical path analyses to identify risks impacting project schedules.

You’ll specifically take care of creating, following up on, and updating project schedules for all options in firm and forecast status, but also contribute to regular reporting within project and site organizations.
