Job summary

DSV in Warsaw, Poland, seeks a proactive Project Manager to lead international projects within our Global Transport and Logistics scope. You will plan, deploy, and monitor delivery, coordinate project teams, and drive stakeholder communications across internal and external partners.

The role emphasizes mastery of Prince2 methods, strong English, and collaboration within a large multinational organization. Travel may be required as projects progress.

Qualifications

  • Very good command of English (DSV corporate language).
  • Certification in Prince2/Scrum/Agile is an advantage.
  • MS Office knowledge.
  • Ability to manage/develop project teams.
  • Ability to motivate employees.

  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • 3-5 years’ experience managing large / international projects.
  • Knowledge of the transport and/or production industry (is an advantage).
  • Experience in working in a large / international organization, preferably in the Shared Service or BPO area.

Responsibilities

  • Project management in accordance with the Prince2 methodology, up to date DSV Project Model and applicable methodologies governing the specification of the allotted project.
  • Plan, manage, deploy, mitigate risks and follow-up on assigned projects.
  • Map and document processes and their optimization.
  • Facilitate and manage project team members.
  • Steer communication strategy with respect to all project stakeholders.
  • Participate in meetings with internal and external partners and customers.
  • Provide timely, high-quality delivery instructions / maps / checklists / reports about progress.
  • Maintain close cooperation with respective DSV functions on change management and Business Case realization planning.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships in various governance set-ups (internal DSV stakeholders).
  • Report project status and progress to stakeholders per defined structures (team, board, executive) and leadership.
  • Comply with internal regulations, labor regulations, remuneration policies and IP protection.
  • Demonstrate behaviours aligned with DSV values.
  • Develop professionally through training and self-education.

Tasks and responsibilities:
  • Project management in accordance with the Prince2 methodology, up to date DSV Project Model and applicable methodologies governing the specification of the allotted project.
  • Responsibility to plan, manage, deploy, mitigate risks and follow-up on assigned projects according to the defined methods including:
  • mapping and documenting processes and their optimization
  • facilitation and management of project team members
  • steering communication strategy with respect to all project stakeholders
  • participation in meetings with internal and external partners and customers
  • timely and high-quality delivery instructions / maps / checklists / overviews / reports about the implemented processes and project progress (according to DSV adhering standards and policies)
  • maintaining close cooperation to respective DSV functions in terms of change management and proactive “Business Case” realization planning of the project
  • Complex, proactive, and solution-driven professional stakeholder management as per need and project situation in various governance set-ups (mainly internal DSV stakeholders).
  • Project status and progress reporting to project stakeholders according to defined structures, i.e., project team, board, executive, but also to GBS Project Management leadership or other identified by management relevant project stakeholders.
  • Compliance with internal regulations, procedures, law and managers orders, including labor regulations, regulations on remuneration and other internal regulations in the company, including company’s intellectual property protection.
  • Behaviors and attitudes consistent with the values of DSV.
  • Professional skills development by participation in training and constant self-education.

Work performed in Warsaw, Poland. Travel activities may be expected.
