ITDS in Kraków is seeking a Mid-Level Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead strategic security assessment and testing projects for a banking client. You will drive plans, manage stakeholders, and ensure delivery of AI implementations, automation, and migrations in a dynamic financial environment.

The role requires at least 4 years of tech delivery project management, strong Jira/Confluence knowledge, and excellent English communication.

As a Mid-Level Cybersecurity Project Manager, you will be working for our client within the banking and financial services sector. You will play a pivotal role in delivering strategic cybersecurity assessment and testing projects, including AI implementation, process automation, and system migrations. Your main responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver a range of medium-sized cybersecurity projects supporting the Threat and Controls Assessment (TCA) team.
• Develop comprehensive project plans and clearly define project requirements.
• Create and execute detailed user test plans.
• Manage project architecture delivery and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• Oversee HSBC governance processes to support system deployment and operational workflows (e.g., External Hosting Committees, Data Visa).
• Update operational procedures to incorporate new features and tooling.
• Build stakeholder buy-in and ensure effective communication of project progress, risks, and dependencies.
• Proactively identify, monitor, and resolve project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Collaborate with program managers to align project activities with broader program goals.
• Maintain accurate project status reports and ad-hoc updates.
• Ensure successful project outcomes within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Facilitate business transition planning, including handover processes and final delivery validation.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 4 years of experience in project management, particularly in technology delivery within complex organizations.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, including agile practices and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Proven experience in business requirements gathering, testing, and process documentation.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and reporting skills.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including working effectively with vendors, IT teams, and support functions.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
• Experience working within the financial or cybersecurity sectors.
