OPTIVEUM sp. z o.o. in Poland is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager for a banking client. Location: Gdańsk or Warsaw.

The role is Hybrid (3 days per week at the client’s office). Lead end-to-end project delivery, plan timelines, manage budgets and resources, and drive governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement to ensure predictable outcomes. Responsabilités

• Coordinate end-to-end project execution from planning through closure.
• Plan and manage delivery activities including timelines, dependencies, resources, risks and budgets.
• Facilitate governance and approvals, ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and report delivery progress, escalate risks to ensure predictable execution.
• Champion change management and promote a strong delivery culture within core change processes.

Senior IT Project Manager

Location: Gdańsk or Warsaw

Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days per week at the Client's office)

Rate: up to 120 PLN/h

About the Role:

For our Client in the banking industry, we are currently looking for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager.

Please note: Optiveum is the recruitment and contracting party for this position. We will sign the cooperation agreement directly with the chosen candidate.

Main Responsibilities:

• Coordinate end-to-end project execution from planning through closure.
• Plan and manage delivery activities including timelines, dependencies, resources, risks, and budgets.
• Facilitate governance activities and approval processes, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and report delivery progress, proactively identifying and escalating risks to ensure predictable execution.
• Champion change management and promote a strong delivery culture while adhering to core technology change processes.

Requirements:

• Proven track record in leading technology projects.
• Strong governance, planning, risk management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Financial and resource management experience, including proficiency with project management tools.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights.
• Advanced presentation skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Languages: Native Polish and Fluent English.

Nice to have:

• Track record in banking or financial services projects.
• Good understanding of Information Security risks within financial organizations.
• Experience with application lifecycle management, vulnerabilities identification, and remediation.
• Relevant project management certifications.
• Experience in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery environments.
