Job summary

Polpharma is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee API manufacturing projects and drive strategic goals. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, including R&D and external CDMOs, to ensure timely delivery and compliance with GMP standards.

The role emphasizes strong budgeting, risk management, and excellent communication, with a hybrid work model and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management.
• Knowledge of GMP manufacturing processes.
• CDMO experience is an advantage.
• Budgeting, risk analysis, and negotiation skills.
• Very good English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Projects’ management within API Business Unit, especially development of manufacturing technologies for active substances to implement strategic goals.
• Plan and implement projects based on best practices, including external customer (CDMO) projects.
• Collaborate with API BU R&D and other departments to achieve project goals.
• Help build a cross-functional CDMO organization; streamline processes and set up new ones.
• Lead project teams at all stages; ensure seamless execution using effective communication tools.
• Develop cooperation skills within the team and organization; manage conflicts.
• Apply change and risk management to projects.

Your responsibilties:

• Projects’ management withing API Business Unit, in particular the development of manufacturing technologies of active substances in order to effectively implement the strategic goals of the Organization
• Efficient planning and implementation of projects, based on best practices, in particular projects ordered by an external customers (CDMO)
• Work closely with the entire API BU R&D Team and other departments/divisions to achieve defined project goals
• Participation in building cross-functional CDMO organization, streamlining existing process and setting-up new ones
• Project team management/leadership at every stage of its formation
• Using effective communication tools to secure seamless project execution
• Developing cooperation skills in the project team and organizational structure
• Conflict management in the project
• Effective change and risk management

Our requirements:

• Higher education in chemistry or related fields will be an advantage;
• Basic knowledge and experience in developing or conducting manufacturing processes of pharmaceutical substances under GMP conditions;
• Practical and theoretical (supported by certificates) knowledge of project management theory;
• Previous experience within CDMO organization is an advantage
• Knowledge of the principles of: budgeting, risk calculation, negotiations;
• High interpersonal skills, also in communication with external clients
• Ability to translate project goals and client requirements to the project team
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management;
• Knowledge of project management support tools is welcome, e.g. MS Project, Jira or similar
• Very good knowledge of English (both spoken and written)
• Very good ability to present project statuses using Ms Office or other packages
