Job summary

g2 Recruitment is seeking a Project Manager to lead a major data centre construction project in Katowice, Poland. You will drive delivery from mobilisation through commissioning and handover, coordinating CSA, MEP and commissioning activities while managing subcontractors and stakeholders.

Ideal candidates will have proven PM experience on large-scale projects, strong leadership and safety focus, and the ability to forecast and report to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager.
• Experience delivering data centre or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of construction delivery and controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of data centre construction from mobilisation through commissioning and handover.
• Provide strategic leadership across project teams with emphasis on safety, quality and programme.
• Coordinate CSA, MEP and commissioning activities for seamless delivery.
• Manage subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and stakeholders to drive progress.
• Maintain project schedules, risks, resources, and reporting for on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Champion Health & Safety and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and forecast/report to senior leadership.
• Manage testing, commissioning and handover for operational readiness.

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager tosupport the delivery of a major data centre construction project in Poland. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-paced, mission-critical environment where you will lead project delivery, manage key stakeholders, and drive safety, quality, and programme excellence from construction through commissioning and final handover.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of mission-critical data centre construction works from mobilisation through commissioning and operational handover.
• Provide strategic leadership across project teams, ensuring world-class standards in safety, quality, programme, and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate CSA, MEP, and Commissioning activities to achieve seamless integration and successful project delivery.
• Drive construction progress through effective management of subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
• Maintain full control of project schedules, risks, resources, and reporting to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Champion Health & Safety excellence and ensure compliance with project, client, and statutory requirements.
• Lead stakeholder engagement, chair project reviews, and provide accurate forecasting and performance reporting to senior leadership.
• Manage testing, commissioning, and handover activities, ensuring all systems achieve operational readiness and client acceptance.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, or equivalent
• Previous experience delivering data centre, mission-critical, industrial, pharmaceutical, or large-scale infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of construction delivery, project controls, and stakeholder management
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• EU work eligibility
