Astek Polska sp. z o.o. is seeking a Project Engineer/Project Manager to lead industrial projects and coordinate subcontractors. The role is on-site in Frankfurt, requiring fluent English and strong organizational skills to ensure delivery within scope and budget.

The candidate will manage budgets, schedules and risk, guide engineering teams, and communicate with the client to achieve high-quality results on time and within safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage industrial projects from handover to final acceptance within scope, budget and timeline.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise on-site activities including dismantling, installation and modernization.
• Lead subcontractors, site supervisors and engineering teams for smooth execution.
• Monitor budgets, control costs and report deviations.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and machinery standards.
• Identify and resolve technical and organizational challenges during execution.
• Track progress and mitigate risks with corrective actions.
• Prepare progress reports and communicate updates to the Project Manager.
• Maintain communication with end client and project stakeholders.
• Ensure timely completion within budget and quality standards.

Position

We are currently looking for a candidate for the position of Project Engineer / Project Manager

Offered salary

Salary: from 110 to 130 PLN net/day, depending on experience and competences.

You’re ideal for this role if you:

• Have proven experience in managing industrial projects, ideally involving machinery installation, production lines, or factory modernization.
• Have experience coordinating subcontractors and supervising on-site activities.
• Are skilled in project planning, budget control, scheduling, and risk management.
• Are fluent in English and can communicate confidently in a professional environment (German is not required).
• Have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Are proactive, communicative, independent, and have a positive, can-do attitude.
• Are willing to work on-site in Frankfurt
• Are available to start as soon as possible

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Managing industrial projects from handover to final acceptance, ensuring successful delivery within the agreed scope, budget, and timeline.
• Planning, coordinating, and supervising on-site activities, including machinery dismantling, installation, and production line modernization.
• Managing subcontractors, site supervisors, and engineering teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitoring project budgets, controlling costs, and reporting any deviations.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, machinery safety standards, and site requirements.
• Identifying and resolving technical and organizational challenges during project execution.
• Monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks, and implementing corrective actions.
• Preparing regular progress reports and communicating project updates to the Project Manager.
• Maintaining effective communication with the end client and other project stakeholders.
• Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards.
