Job summary

Astek Polska is seeking a Project Manager for our engineering client. You will lead end-to-end projects, ensuring scope, timelines, budgets, and risks are managed while coordinating cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

The role requires at least 5 years in project management, strong PMO knowledge, and excellent English; German is a plus. A university degree and PM certification are highly valued. This is a long-term, full-time position based in Poznań, Poland.

Position

We are currently looking for a candidate for the position of Project Manager for our client from the Engineering industry.

Offered salary

Salary: from 90 to 110PLN net/day, depending on experience and competences.

You're ideal for this role if you:

• Hold a university degree; additional education in Project Management is a strong advantage.
• Have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivered projects.
• Have a strong understanding of project management methodologies, PMO processes, and industry best practices.
• Are proficient in using project management tools and know how to apply them effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
• Have experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating effectively with stakeholders at different levels of the organization, including senior management.
• Demonstrate strong planning, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Are confident in managing project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
• Are fluent in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of German is an additional advantage.
• Hold a recognized project management certification such as PRINCE2, PMP, or another PMI certification — this would be an additional asset.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Leading implementation and continuous improvement projects from initiation through successful delivery.
• Defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Preparing and maintaining project documentation, plans, schedules, and timelines.
• Building, organizing, and coordinating cross-functional project teams.
• Managing project budgets and ensuring that agreed objectives and deliverables are achieved.Monitoring project progress, identifying risks and issues, and implementing appropriate corrective actions.
• Providing regular project status updates and reports to the Management Board.
• Supporting and mentoring team members in developing their project management skills and experience.
• Developing, standardizing, and continuously improving project management processes and best practices across the organization.
