Job summary

Umicore Belgium in Poland seeks a project engineer to lead capital investment projects and plant improvements, coordinating timelines, budgets and resources for successful delivery.

You will work with cross-functional teams, review drawings and technical docs, identify root causes, and drive reliability and cost improvements. The ideal candidate has an engineering degree and 5+ years in manufacturing or project roles with strong English language skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or engineering project roles.
• Proven experience in managing technical or capital investment projects.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and engineering documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate capital investment projects and plant improvement initiatives from planning through execution.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives and technical requirements.
• Support the design, selection, installation, and commissioning of new equipment and process improvements.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, specifications, and engineering drawings.
