Job summary

Umicore is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead capital investment projects and plant improvements in Poland. You will manage scope, timelines, budgets and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a degree in Engineering, 5+ years in manufacturing or project roles, knowledge of mechanical, electrical and automation systems, the ability to read drawings, and fluency in English and Polish.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing or project roles.
• Experience managing capital investment projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, automation systems.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and P&IDs.
• Fluent in English and Polish.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate capital investment projects from planning to delivery.
• Manage scope, timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define objectives and requirements.
• Support design, installation, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Prepare technical documentation and engineering drawings.
• Drive reliability and cost optimization initiatives.
• Coordinate external contractors and ensure safety and quality standards.
