Job summary

MindPal Sp. z o. o. in Kraków seeks a Program Purchasing Manager to lead SCM and purchasing program activities, delivering regional revenue and material performance targets as part of the product program.

You will manage supplier assessment and development, BOM cost tracking, sourcing, and PPAP to meet QCD targets while driving cost improvements toward profitability. The role requires engineering/IE/MB degrees and automotive experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, industrial engineering, business administration, or similar.
• Minimum 5 years automotive purchasing or program management experience.
• Strong ethics in supplier relationships and business finance.

Responsibilities

Quick Facts Role: Program Purchasing Manager Description Lead and support assigned SCM and purchasing program activities to deliver regional annual revenue, OI and material performance targets. Ensure operational excellence of purchased materials throughout the product program life, including quality and delivery, and manage supplier assessment and development. Execute Purchasing Program Management for flawless launches using BOM cost tracking, sourcing, and PPAP to meet QCD targets while driving material cost improvements towards profitability.

Responsibilities

• Drive/ support SCM activities for annual revenue, OI targets, and material performance targets
• Assure quality business case requirements for purchased materials (quality and delivery for the life of the program)
• Execute supplier assessment and drive supplier development aligned to product line needs and global category strategies
• Manage volume business case requirements: flawless launch, BOM cost tracking and actions to meet BOM targets, sourcing, and PPAP to ensure QCD targets
• Facilitate Early Sourcing and Flawless Launch plans; track deliverables and early/strategic sourcing
• Escalate potential cost gaps and plan/timing misses to Purchasing Program leadership
• Serve as the central SCM contact for Direct Materials
• Convert "red" purchased-material programs to profitability ("green") through cost business case plans
• Support MCIP activities: workshops, alternative components, benchmarking, pricing data for cost comparisons, and ensure compliance with SCM category strategy
• Influence category strategy development and participate in category planning representing product line needs
• Ensure compliance with corporate/divisional/SCM policies; follow supplier escalation process (Purchasing Program leader as first-level escalation)

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or similar
• Minimum 5 years automotive experience in Purchasing, Program Management and/or Advanced Quality Planning (automotive supplier experience preferred)
• Strong ethics and integrity in managing supplier relationships; ability to work with suppliers up front
• Proficiency in business finance
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Interest in understanding technical challenges and eagerness to learn
• Excellent computer skills with MS Office
• Strong English proficiency
• Ability to work and communicate with different cultures
• Willingness to travel
