Job summary

OPmobility is seeking a Program Buyer to source and manage suppliers for automotive components and tools, ensuring delivery aligns with development timelines. The role requires strong negotiation and stakeholder management across global teams, with an emphasis on cost efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Good understanding of product development and project management processes.
• Fluency in English.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Team-oriented with strong stakeholder management capabilities.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier negotiations and manage commercial agreements for new projects.
• Ensure timely delivery of components during development and launch phases.
• Coordinate prototype development and tooling activities with suppliers.
• Support supplier development and drive alignment with project objectives.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and introduce innovative sourcing solutions.
• Collaborate with global purchasing teams, engineering and project stakeholders.
• Monitor BOM cost changes and contribute to material margin improvement.
