Job summary

Aduna Global is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead cross-functional projects across engineering and other Aduna organizations. Based in Montreal, Canada, you will oversee activities, identify risks, and bridge executive strategy with execution.

You will coordinate planning, risk management, and procurement while partnering with finance and legal to ensure compliant, on-time delivery of initiatives. This role reports to the Head of the PMO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• PMP or equivalent certification demonstrating solid PM practices is a strong asset.
• 10+ years of project management in an IT-related industry.
• At least 5 years in program management with multiple concurrent projects.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and align stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and execute program initiatives across cross-functional teams.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and manage issues/decisions.
• Monitor project health and report progress to leadership.
• Oversee procurement lifecycle including due diligence and vendor terms.
• Collaborate with finance to create POs and manage budgets.

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to lead projects across engineering and other Aduna organizations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee project activities and dependencies, proactively identifying and mitigating risks. You will act as a bridge between executive strategy and operational execution — strategic and hands-on, capable of driving day-to-day activities and solving issues. This role reports to the Head of the PMO and is based in Montreal, Canada.

What You’ll Do

• Project Planning, Prioritization, & Execution : Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives. Plan and coordinate project activities across cross-functional teams to achieve a successful project outcome. Manage dependencies and effectively prioritize work tasks to ensure project objectives are met, on schedule.
• Project Risk & Decision Management : Identify potential risks for the project and work to mitigate these risks. Resolve and/or escape any issues that threaten project success. Document and communicate project risks and decisions to stakeholders.
• Project Monitoring & Reporting : Actively monitor and report on project health and progress, taking corrective action as needed. Act as the central point of contact for status and other updates on a project, including project performance. Regularly communicate with senior leadership and stakeholders to keep them updated on the project’s progress, risks, and decisions.
• Procurement : Coordinate and manage the entire procurement lifecycle for both new and existing software and services. This includes conducting thorough due diligence and ensuring compliance, as well as performing security and privacy assessment reviews. Work closely with the Aduna legal team to finalize agreements and terms and conditions.
• Budget : Work closely with the Aduna Finance team to create Purchase Orders and ensure they are promptly sent back to our vendors.

What You Bring

• Education & Certification : Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent certification demonstrating a solid grasp of Project Management best practices, is a strong asset.
• Project Management Expertise: 10+ years of project management experience in an IT related industry, including at least 5 years of Program Management involving multiple, concurrent projects. A demonstrated capability managing technically complex, cross-functional projects.
• Leadership & Communication Skills : Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve collaboration and organizational goals. Skill resolving conflicts and aligning stakeholders on project goals is a must. Exceptional communication skills are required to drive clarity in a rapidly evolving environment. Candidates must be able to communicate clearly with all stakeholders and produce clear documentation and reports.
• Project Management & Reporting Tools : Proficiency with project management tools used for planning tasks and reporting on KPIs, project velocity, and operational metrics (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project, Expert in Microsoft Excel).
• Technical Skills : Ability to understand, discuss, and evaluate system architecture and technical trade-offs. Familiarity with modern technology stacks, including cloud infrastructure, API design, and database technologies.

Bonus

• Familiarity with managing software lifecycle (procurement to end-of-life) and software license compliance in a growing company.
