Job summary

INFOLET SP. Z O.O. is seeking a Production Support professional to monitor and resolve critical payment applications and production services in Kraków. You will work with development and infrastructure teams to investigate incidents, implement automation, and improve resilience of systems.

You will use Unix/Linux, SQL, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools, while crafting runbooks and scripts to reduce manual effort. Strong English communication and collaboration with global teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Production Support or IT Operations, preferably in financial services.
• Hands-on Unix/Linux experience with log analysis and troubleshooting.
• Able to write and troubleshoot SQL queries.
• Scripting experience in Bash, PowerShell or Python.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes environments.
• Familiar with monitoring/observability tools (Splunk, AppDynamics, Prometheus).
• Understanding of Incident, Problem and Change Management processes.
• Experience improving ops through automation and continuous improvement.
• Experience with AI productivity tools like Copilot or Claude.
• Very good English and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support critical production applications, responding to incidents within SLAs.
• Troubleshoot production issues using logs, dashboards, SQL data, and behavior.
• Investigate incidents in Unix/Linux via standard CLI tools.
• Coordinate recovery with development, engineering and infrastructure teams.
• Participate in root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
• Improve monitoring, reduce alert noise and increase resilience.
• Create and maintain runbooks, docs, and knowledge articles.
• Automate repetitive tasks using Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Develop simple tools and scripts to boost team efficiency.
• Use AI tools to support automation, documentation, and analysis.
• Support deployments, patching, DR exercises and maintenance.
• Review readiness of changes and identify production risks.
• Communicate service status and recovery progress to stakeholders.

Join a team responsible for supporting critical payment applications and ensuring stable, reliable production services.

You will work closely with development and infrastructure teams to investigate incidents, resolve production issues, and continuously improve operational processes. The role combines production support, Linux/Unix, SQL, Kubernetes, monitoring and automation, with a strong focus on reducing manual effort and improving service resilience.

You will

• Monitor and support critical production applications, responding to incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs
• Troubleshoot production issues using logs, monitoring dashboards, SQL data and application behaviour
• Investigate incidents in Unix/Linux environments using standard command-line tools.
• Coordinate recovery activities with development, engineering and infrastructure teams.
• Participate in root cause analysis and post-incident reviews
• Improve monitoring, reduce alert noise and increase operational resilience
• Create and maintain operational documentation, runbooks and knowledge articles
• Automate repetitive operational tasks using Bash, PowerShell or Python
• Develop simple tools and scripts that improve team efficiency

• Support deployments, patching, disaster recovery exercises and platform maintenance
• Review operational readiness of changes and identify potential production support risks
• Communicate service status and recovery progress to relevant stakeholders

Must have

• Experience in Production Support, Application Support or IT Operations, preferably within financial services
• Hands-on knowledge of Unix/Linux, including log analysis and application troubleshooting
• Ability to write and troubleshoot SQL queries
• Scripting experience with Bash, PowerShell or Python
• Practical experience supporting and maintaining Kubernetes environments
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Prometheus or similar
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure concepts and distributed applications
• Working knowledge of Incident, Problem and Change Management processes
• Experience improving operational processes through automation and continuous improvement
• Practical experience with AI productivity tools such as Copilot, Claude or similar
• Very good English and strong communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams

Nice to have

• Knowledge of payment systems or payment processing
• Experience with Oracle, Kafka, MQ or WebSphere
• Experience supporting Disaster Recovery exercises
• ITIL certification
