INFOLET SP. Z O.O. in Kraków is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer focusing on on-prem infrastructure automation, IaC, and secure enterprise-grade engineering practices.

You will build IaC, automate OS/DB provisioning, design CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to incident response and RCA efforts, with hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure automation.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible or similar configuration management tools.
• Experience with Terraform or equivalent IaC tooling.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure or platform changes.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of database infrastructure and operational processes such as provisioning, configuration, patching, backup, and restore.
• Experience with Git, branching strategies, and code review workflows.
• Good understanding of infrastructure security, including secrets management and least-privilege access.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good English communication skills and ability to work across engineering and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for on-prem infrastructure, including compute, storage, network, OS, and database components.
• Develop reusable automation modules and templates using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Automate OS and database provisioning, configuration, patching, hardening, and compliance activities.
• Design and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and platform automation.
• Implement pipeline controls including approvals, audit trails, secrets management, and change traceability.
• Work with OS/DB Patching and Platform Engineering teams to automate infrastructure operations and reduce manual work.
• Create infrastructure monitoring, alerts, and dashboards focused on availability, performance, capacity, and deployment success.
• Participate in incident management and on-call/rota support.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement automated fixes to prevent recurring incidents.
• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, runbooks, operating procedures, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.

Kraków ( Hybrid - 2 days in the office / 3 days remote )

PROJECT

Join a global engineering environment focused on building and automating reliable on-prem infrastructure and platform services.

You will work on Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, Linux environments, and OS/DB automation, helping standardise infrastructure delivery and reduce manual operational work. The role combines infrastructure engineering, automation, production support, and reliability, with a strong focus on security and enterprise-grade engineering practices.

YOU WILL

• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for on-prem infrastructure, including compute, storage, network, OS, and database components.

MUST HAVE

• Knowledge of enterprise tooling such as artifact repositories, secrets vaults, and CMDB
• Experience working in financial services or other regulated environments
