Job summary

Swift Recruitment is seeking a Production Planner in Wrocław to join a growing planning team. You will develop detailed production plans, optimize schedules, and coordinate across Manufacturing, Operations, Order Management and Supply Chain to ensure on-time order completion.

The role involves close collaboration with Production Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to translate orders into feasible schedules and drive OTIF performance.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in production planning, scheduling or related areas.
• Experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Understanding of planning, scheduling and manufacturing processes; ERP systems; SAP would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain short-term and detailed production plans.
• Create and optimize production schedules, production blocks, sequences and production runs.
• Plan production across manufacturing machines and production lines.
• Ensure effective utilization of available manufacturing resources.
• Translate customer and order requirements into feasible production schedules.
• Create and communicate production instructions to operational teams.
• Monitor production progress and order completion.
• Coordinate corrective actions when production plans cannot be executed as expected.
• Support reliable and on-time production and achievement of OTIF targets.
• Monitor intermediate inventory levels and support inventory optimization.
• Support the management of non-standard stock and production situations.
• Work closely with Production Managers, Supervisors, Order Management, Procurement and other Supply Chain stakeholders.
• Provide proactive reporting on risks, exceptions and potential delivery issues.

About the role

For one of our international clients, we are currently looking for a Production Planner to join a newly established Production Planning team in Wrocław.

The team will be responsible for production planning for manufacturing sites located across Europe.

The role combines detailed production planning and scheduling with close cooperation with Manufacturing, Operations, Order Management and other Supply Chain functions.

You will be responsible for creating feasible production plans, optimizing production runs, monitoring execution and supporting reliable, on-time order completion.
