Job summary

Quest Global in Poland seeks a proactive Production Planner in Wrocław to develop and maintain production plans, ensuring timely delivery while optimizing capacity and material availability.

You will coordinate across production, logistics, purchasing, quality, engineering and project management, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement using SAP and ERP data in a fast-paced, international environment. This role offers growth opportunities and exposure to multinational teams.

Qualifications

  • 4–6 years of experience in production planning or related field.
  • Polish nationality due to military requirements.
  • English proficiency at least B1 level.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactive, independent worker with good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production plans and schedules based on forecasts and demand.
  • Initiate production orders and coordinate shipments of finished products.
  • Monitor order execution, identify delays, and implement corrective actions.
  • Work within SAP to track material availability and production data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with logistics, purchasing, quality, engineering, and project management.
  • Prepare reports to support business decisions and KPI monitoring.
  • Support continuous improvement in planning, scheduling, and supply chain processes.
  • Ensure delivery performance and customer satisfaction goals are met.

About The Opportunity

At Quest Global, we are looking for a proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our growing team.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining production plans that ensure the timely delivery of products while optimizing production capacity and material availability. You will play a key role in coordinating activities across multiple functions, including production, logistics, purchasing, quality, engineering, and project management, helping to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong planning and analytical skills, experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You should be comfortable working with production data, monitoring key performance indicators, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain production plans and schedules based on customer forecasts and actual demand.
  • Initiate production orders and coordinate shipments of finished products.
  • Monitor production order execution, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions.
  • Work within SAP to monitor material availability and maintain accurate production data.
  • Collaborate closely with logistics, purchasing, quality, engineering, production, and project management teams.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure timely and accurate information exchange.
  • Prepare planning, logistics, and operational reports to support business decision-making.
  • Analyze production performance indicators and ensure data accuracy.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning, scheduling, and supply chain processes.
  • Contribute to achieving operational efficiency, delivery performance, and customer satisfaction objectives.
Required Skills And Experience
What is important to us:
  • Both: Nationality and Citizenship only Polish due to the military license.
  • Experience in production planning, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel (minimum intermediate level).
  • English language proficiency at a minimum B1 level.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive approach and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and develop within planning and logistics functions.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience 4-6 years
Preferred
  • Experience working in an international manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Understanding of production planning and scheduling processes.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience working with APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling) systems.
  • Ability to perform effectively under time pressure and changing business priorities.

The salary range for this position is PLN 8,500 - 9,500 gross per month, depending on your experience and qualifications.
