Job summary

nVent is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Poland to monitor machines, ensure production continuity, and drive improvements across manufacturing processes. The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and collaboration with engineers and operators to keep lines running smoothly.

The position requires practical welding and cutting experience, a technical engineering background, ability to read drawings, and basic English.

Qualifications

• Practical experience with cutting, welding, and resistance welding.
• Technical education in Mechanical, Automation, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering.
• Ability to read technical drawings and sketches.
• Basic knowledge of electrical engineering and industrial automation.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools including 5S, Work Standardization, Kanban, TPM.
• Self-motivated, proactive, able to work independently.
• Basic command of English.
• SEP electrical qualifications up to 1 kV would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor operation and maintain production continuity in cooperation with engineers and production staff.
• Perform tasks related to production equipment and tools supporting manufacturing processes.
• Participate in projects aimed at reducing losses and improving process efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical failures.
• Ensure continuous and uninterrupted production operations.
• Carry out machine and equipment overhauls, repairs, cleaning, and preventive maintenance.
• Perform basic machining and metalworking tasks (drilling, turning, grinding).
• Resolve day-to-day tooling and equipment issues.
• Implement and support process and equipment improvements.
