nVent, a global leader in electrical connection and protection solutions, seeks an EHS Specialist in Poland. You will shape and strengthen our Environmental, Health & Safety culture, working with employees and leadership to make safety a core value across the organization.

You will drive improvements, coach teams, manage incident investigations, and ensure compliance with regulations while promoting engagement and growth in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Sincere interest in EHS, in the protection of people & environment and loss prevention.
• 3+ years work experience in the manufacturing environment.
• Strongly able to self manage with good initiative, able to plan & organize, resolve problems, handle pressure and have good working attitude.
• Strong interpersonal skill, ability to communicate and interact effectively with team members and people.
• Fluent Polish & English (both spoken & written).
• Computer skills: MS Excel, Power Point

Responsibilities

• Drive a proactive safety culture and lead continuous safety improvement initiatives.
• Coach and support employees and leaders on Environmental, Health & Safety matters.
• Manage the incident reporting process and lead investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
• Provide clear direction and support to achieve site EHS objectives.
• Monitor and report progress toward safety and environmental performance goals.
• Support Team Leaders and Shift Leaders in addressing EHS challenges and opportunities.
• Promote employee engagement and ownership of safety across all levels of the organization.
• Participate in and facilitate Lean and Six Sigma continuous improvement events.
• Identify risks, implement preventive measures, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
