Job summary

Akamai is seeking a Product Analyst to understand how customers experience our cloud platform. You will partner with product teams, work with usage data and in-app analytics, and surface insights to shape onboarding and growth.

You will build dashboards, instrument product surfaces, and analyze funnels and retention to reduce friction. You will collaborate across product management, data engineering, and customer experience, translating raw signals into decisions and contributing to analytics

We're looking for a Product Analyst to help us understand how customers experience our cloud platform. Partnering with internal teams, you'll work with product usage data, in-app behavioral analytics, and customer journey instrumentation to surface insights that shape how we build, onboard, and grow. This role sits at the intersection of product management, data engineering, and customer experience. It creates value by translating raw signals into decisions.

As a Product Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Partnering with product teams to define what "good experience" looks like and how to measure it
• Building and maintaining dashboards in tools like Pendo, Tableau, or similar, and using the data to help answer questions and drive our business forward
• Instrumenting new product surfaces by working with engineers to define event taxonomies, validate tracking, and ensure data quality
• Analyzing funnels, retention curves, and feature adoption to identify friction points in the customer journey
• Contributing to our experience metrics framework and helping establish analytics standards across the product organization

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have analytics experience, ideally in a B2B SaaS or developer-focused product environment
• Be comfortable navigating and working with large datasets
• Have experience with product analytics platform (Pendo, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Heap, FullStory, or equivalent) and understand event-based instrumentation and measurement
• Have excellent written and verbal communications skills to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Be a good team player, able to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast changing environment
• Have experience with cloud infrastructure products, developer tooling, or APIs - would be an asset
• Have familiarity with Python or R for deeper analysis; and exposure to A/B testing frameworks - would be an asset
