Job summary

Hitachi ABB Power Grids is seeking a Procurement Team Leader to strengthen our Supply Chain Management group in Poland. You will oversee procurement transactions, organize the team, and drive efficiency while shaping our center for growth.

The role requires 4+ years in procurement, English and French at high levels, and proven leadership. You will coach the team, support P2P transitions, and collaborate with our global suppliers to meet internal and external stakeholders’ needs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management/Procurement.
• Very good knowledge of English.
• Very good knowledge of French (B2/C1).
• Direct team leadership experience is a must.
• Good Excel knowledge is a strong plus. Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor accurate processing of Procurement transactions and oversee allocation of work.
• Identify, recommend and implement best practices to improve efficiency and drive productivity gains.
• Collaborate with Procurement Delivery Lead on goals and digitalization; set and monitor team delivery.

To strengthen our Supply Chain Management team, we are looking for a Procurement Team Leader. Seize this unique opportunity to take an active part in shaping our center and grow together with the rapidly developing organization.

How You'll Make an Impact:

• Monitor accurate processing of Procurement transactions. Oversee organization and work allocation for individuals involved in processing.
• Identify, recommend and assist in implementation of best practices to gain efficiency and drive productivity gains, eliminate inefficiencies.
• Collaborate closely with Procurement Delivery Lead on goals/execution/digitalization. Set and monitor team goals delivery, while providing regular feedback to team members.
• Provide regular coaching and training to the team. Supports the transition of Procure to Pay (P2P) processes into the CSS organization.
• Manage day to day activities with portfolio of international suppliers, fulfilling needs of internal and external stakeholders, including PO creation, tracking goods receipt, issue resolution etc.

Your Background:

• At least 4 years of experience in the following areas: Supply Chain - - Management/Procurement.
• Very good knowledge of English
• Very good knowledge of French (B2/C1)
• Leadership exposure (direct team leadership) is a must.
• Good Excel knowledge would be a strong plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
