Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in SCM, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • Up to 1 year of experience in Procurement or Shared Services.
  • Basic understanding of procurement processes and governance principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration across functions.
  • Proficiency with MS Office; SAP Ariba is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support to procurement processes and stakeholders.
  • Help maintain supplier data quality for informed decisions.
  • Act as a contact for procurement inquiries across functions.

Procurement Operations Junior Specialist (IMS)

The Opportunity:
We offer the opportunity to support global procurement operations, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, drive process improvements and contribute to supplier data governance and digital transformation initiatives across our CSS Indirect Materials & Services organization.

The Procurement Operations Junior Specialist provides operational support, process expertise, and business enablement services across the Indirect Materials & Services (IMS) organization. The role acts as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, supporting effective execution of procurement-related processes, systems, supplier data activities, and governance requirements. It ensures a consistent user experience while promoting compliance, operational excellence, and adoption of global standards.

The role combines operational support, application expertise, supplier master data governance, knowledge management, and continuous improvement responsibilities within a single service-oriented function. It contributes to the development and evolution of the IMS operating model by supporting digitalization, simplification, automation, and user enablement initiatives across global business operations.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Provide operational support and expert guidance to internal stakeholders, ensuring efficient and compliant procurement operations.
  • Help maintain high-quality supplier and procurement data, supporting accurate business decisions and process reliability.
  • Serve as a key contact for procurement-related inquiries, collaborating with Procurement, Finance, IT, suppliers, and business users.
  • Contribute to a positive user experience by supporting procurement systems, tools, policies, and governance standards.
  • Create and maintain user guides, training materials, and knowledge resources that enable stakeholder self-service and process adoption.
  • Support system implementations, testing activities, and process changes to ensure successful deployment of new solutions and capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities for standardization, simplification, and automation, helping drive operational efficiency across global operations.
  • Contribute to digitalization and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance procurement services and business performance.
  • Ensure compliance with global processes and governance requirements while promoting operational excellence and data integrity.
  • Support the evolution of the global IMS operating model by delivering high-quality service and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Up to 1 year of experience in Procurement, Shared Services, Supply Chain, Master Data Management, Business Operations, internships, or a similar environment.
  • Basic understanding of procurement processes, business operations, governance principles, and customer support environments.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions, business units, and geographies.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with SAP Ariba or similar procurement platforms is a plus.
  • Fluent in English, with additional language skills considered an advantage.
  • Eager to learn and develop expertise in procurement, supplier data management, digital solutions, and continuous improvement practices.
