Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is building a Procurement team for the DACH markets. The role focuses on processing indirect requisitions and creating POs while ensuring regulatory compliance. Strong German (B2) and English (B1-B2) are required, with 2+ years in procurement or related finance fields.

The fixed-term position lasts 12 months and offers opportunities to learn on the job in a global biopharmaceutical setting and to collaborate with diverse internal partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 2 years in procurement/sourcing.
• Fluent German (B2) and English (B1-B2) essential.
• Experience with SAP IT systems is preferred (weBuy, SAP ERP).

Responsibilities

• Process indirect purchase requisitions from internal employees across departments/countries.
• Create direct purchase orders for goods and/or services to external suppliers.
• Perform quality audits of requirements and documentation.
• Support internal partners with purchase requisition creation.
• Respond to internal queries regarding procurement processes.
• Assist with Plant Maintenance tasks (e.g., Purchase Info Records).
• Address stakeholder training and reporting needs.
