Banking Circle in Warsaw is seeking a Procurement Manager to own end-to-end procurement across tech and operational services. You will work with Technology, Legal, Risk and Finance to drive commercial, contractual and governance outcomes.
The role focuses on software, SaaS, professional services and outsourced providers, with a hybrid office model and an emphasis on pragmatic processes and value creation.
Do you want to work in a fast‑paced environment where Procurement helps the business scale in a controlled and commercially sound way? Then this could be the right opportunity for you
Banking Circle is a fully licensed, technology‑enabled bank processing over €1 trillion in payments every year - and growing. We exist to power the global economy’s most ambitious payments businesses with infrastructure that is fast, modern, and engineered for scale. Today, more than 800 people across 11 countries work together as one global team. We move fast, we think boldly, and we build with intent - because our clients depend on us to keep pace with the world’s most dynamic payments flows. We are expanding globally, scaling our capabilities, and deepening our impact, so if you want to shape the future of financial infrastructure - this is the place.
As our new Procurement Manager in the Procurement & Outsourcing team in Warsaw, you will take ownership of a portfolio of procurement activities across renewals, supplier onboarding, sourcing and contract lifecycle management. You will work closely with stakeholders across Technology, Legal, Risk and Finance, independently managing procurement requests from initial request through to contract execution while ensuring the right commercial, contractual and governance considerations are properly addressed.
While much of your portfolio will focus on technology and operational services, including software, SaaS, professional services and outsourced providers, you'll also support procurement across a broader range of business spend.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who combines strong execution with commercial judgement. You'll independently manage procurement activities, challenge supplier proposals where appropriate, and deliver pragmatic recommendations that balance business needs, risk and value. You'll join a growing Procurement & Outsourcing function where processes, tooling and ways of working continue to evolve, giving you opportunities to help shape how procurement supports the business.
We offer a hybrid work model for our employees to allow for flexibility and productivity. However, we do expect you to spend most of your time in the office to build community and efficiency in the team.
To be the right candidate, you hold a university degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, IT, or a similar field and have 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, vendor management, contract management, or supplier governance, ideally within a fast‑paced, regulated, or technology‑driven environment.
You have experience independently managing technology procurement activities, including SaaS, software licensing, professional services, managed services, cloud, or infrastructure-related agreements, and a demonstrated track record of leading sourcing initiatives, supplier and contract negotiations, and renewals while delivering measurable commercial value. You bring strong commercial acumen, with the ability to identify opportunities, challenge constructively, and balance business needs, risk considerations, and value creation.
Experience working in a regulated or controlled environment, with exposure to third‑party risk and outsourcing frameworks such as DORA and the EBA Outsourcing Guidelines, is preferred. You are structured, analytical, and self‑driven, with the ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into pragmatic procurement approaches, sourcing strategies, and commercial recommendations.
You are comfortable working autonomously, exercising sound commercial judgement, and knowing when to seek input on more complex or higher‑risk matters. You proactively identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, supplier outcomes, and business value, and you are a clear and confident communicator with both internal stakeholders and suppliers, able to challenge constructively and remain calm under pressure
