Job summary

Takeda, Lodz, Poland, seeks an accomplished Procurement Excellence Manager to advance procurement capabilities and operating models across Global Procurement. You will collaborate with Global Category Leaders to standardize processes, drive adoption of best practices, and embed ESG considerations in supplier governance.

The role emphasizes leadership, transformation, and cross-functional partnership to deliver measurable value and sustainable procurement excellence across spend categories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Operations or related field.
• MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years strategic and operational procurement experience in direct/indirect spend.
• 12+ years overall business experience in global/complex orgs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve procurement capabilities, methodologies, tools, templates, and best practices across category management and SRM.
• Own and maintain integrated operating models for Category Management, SRM, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Segmentation, and Preferred Supplier programs.
• Serve as procurement excellence SME to improve end-to-end process effectiveness.
• Partner with Global Category Leaders to strengthen category strategies and execution.
• Drive adoption of standards and frameworks across strategic programs, track performance, and lead improvements.
• Establish standardized approaches for category management, supplier segmentation, and supplier performance programs.
• Collaborate with risk and sustainability stakeholders to embed ESG considerations in procurement processes.
• Coach category teams on applying procurement frameworks and methodologies.
• Develop and enhance procurement content, templates, and training materials with the Capabilities team.
• Support change management initiatives and adoption of new procurement tools and processes.
• Identify and implement tools and reporting solutions for KPI management and insights.
