Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Procurement Excellence Manager to shape how procurement capabilities are developed and deployed across Global Procurement. The role focuses on Category Management Excellence, SRM, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Segmentation, and Supplier Innovation.

You will partner with Global Category Leaders to strengthen capabilities, drive process excellence, and enable sustainable value and strong supplier partnerships across regions and functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Operations or related field.
• MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of overall business experience in large global organisations.
• 8+ years in procurement, supplier management, and category management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve procurement capabilities, templates, and ways of working.
• Own Category Management, SRM, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Segmentation, and Preferred Supplier models.
• Drive end-to-end procurement process excellence and governance.
• Guide Global Category Leaders in strategy development and execution.
• Promote adoption of procurement frameworks across programs and measure impact.
• Maintain standard methodologies for supplier performance and innovation.
