Job summary

Perfetti Van Melle in Opole, Poland is seeking a Process Engineer – Gum Process to optimise production, improve efficiency and support new equipment. You will analyse data, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with Production to drive continuous improvement and cost reductions.

The ideal candidate has an engineering degree, initial process engineering experience in FMCG, strong analytical and communication skills, and a proactive, results-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or a technical field; process/production engineering preferred.
• Initial experience in process engineering or similar role in FMCG considered an asset.
• Interest in production processes and process optimisation to improve efficiency.
• Strong analytical thinking to interpret production data and drive practical solutions.
• Proactive and creative mindset with initiative to explore improvements.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail under time pressure.
• Good communication and collaboration with Production and factory teams.
• Communicative English skills for technical documentation and discussions.
• Willingness to learn and develop further in a global confectionery company.

Responsibilities

• Optimise production processes to increase productivity and efficiency.
• Support new equipment and technologies implementation.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot process-related issues with Production.
• Assist in new product launches and ensure successful manufacturing integration.
• Identify opportunities to reduce material consumption, waste, and downtime.
• Contribute to improvement projects to raise productivity and reliability.
• Analyse production performance and prepare reports with trends.
