Job summary

EY GDS Poland is offering a Senior Software Engineer role in Wrocław/Katowice with 2 days in office and 3 days remote. You will lead critical software or platform engineering initiatives, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of hands-on experience with C#, Java, Python, and strong CI/CD expertise. A Bachelor’s degree is required, with knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, IT, mathematics, or related field.
• Over 10 years of applied software or platform engineering experience.
• Experience delivering software/platform engineering solutions with strong technical leadership.
• Proficiency with CI/CD and code/configuration management tools (GitHub, ADO).
• Strong understanding of business and user requirements and translating them to design.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of solution or infrastructure development for large projects.
• Ensure design specifications meet business and technical requirements.
• Code, debug, test, and troubleshoot complex tasks.
• Provide advanced technical expertise to maximize efficiency and value.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to engineer leading solutions.
