Job summary

Swire Renewable Energy is seeking skilled Mechanical and Installation technicians for upcoming preassembly projects across Europe. The team will handle preparation, lifting, and installation of wind components, with a focus on mechanical systems and documentation.

Applicants should have wind industry experience, full GWO BST certification, and GWO Slinger Signaller/Lift User qualifications, plus EU work rights and strong English communication. Role involves on-site work in Europe.

Qualifications

• Experience in the wind industry, validated by education and certification.
• Full GWO BST (WAH, FA, FAR, MH) + BTT (Mechanical, Bolt Tightening, Installation)
• GWO Slinger Signaller and GWO Lift User.
• Nice to have: Forklift/Telehandler permits; ActSafe Power Ascender, Stop the Drop.
• Valid passport and right to work in the EU; good English communication.

Responsibilities

• Preparation/Lifting/Installation of components.
• Mechanical installation of ladders/lift/cooling systems/bolt stretching.
• Completion of documentation.
• Additional tasks as required by site management.

• Previous experience in the wind industry, preferably Vestas, proven by education and certification

• Full GWO BST (WAH, FA, FAR, MH) + BTT (Mechanical, Bolt Tightening, Installation

• GWO Slinger Signaller

• GWO Lift User

• Nice to Have: Forklift / Telehandler permits

• Nice to Have: ActSafe Power Ascender, Stop the Drop

• Valid passport & driver’s license, right to work in the EU

• Good English communication skills (verbal & written)
