Job summary

Instant Impact is recruiting a Power BI Business Researcher to join the Business Insights team and support strategic growth across a global network. You will deliver market intelligence, competitor insights and data-driven analysis to enable informed decisions.

The role combines research, analytics and business development, transforming complex data into dashboards and management information for stakeholders worldwide. Strong Power BI expertise and English fluency are essential.

Qualifications

Degree or professional qualification in Business, Information Management, Data Analytics, Marketing, Economics or related discipline.
Proven experience conducting business, market or commercial research.
Demonstrable experience building dashboards, reports and visualisations in Power BI (essential).
Strong understanding of data modelling, data transformation and reporting best practices.
Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, Power Query and data analysis techniques.
Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Conduct market, competitor, jurisdictional, sector and target company research.
Analyse internal and external data to identify market trends, growth opportunities and potential business risks.
Design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports and visualisations for business stakeholders.
Develop automated reporting solutions that improve accessibility and understanding of key business information.
Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
Produce research reports, briefing papers and presentation materials for senior stakeholders.
Support business development initiatives through target analysis, prospect identification and meeting preparation materials.
Monitor competitor activity, market developments and emerging trends across key jurisdictions and sectors.
Collaborate with stakeholders across international offices to understand business requirements and reporting needs.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy and consistency across reporting and research outputs.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high levels of quality and attention to detail.
