Job summary

Instant Impact, based in Cracow, Poland, is seeking a Junior Business Researcher to join the Business Insights team and support strategic growth initiatives across a global network of offices. You will deliver market intelligence, competitor insights and commercially focused analysis to support decision-making and client growth.

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification in Business, Marketing, Information Management, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
• Experience conducting business, market, commercial or investment research.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify key insights from complex information.
• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables and data analysis techniques.
• Experience creating reports and dashboards using Power BI.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Naturally curious, proactive and commercially minded.
• Experience within financial services, legal services or offshore markets would be advantageous.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market, competitor, jurisdictional, sector and target company research.
• Analyse internal and external data to identify market trends, growth opportunities and potential risks.
• Produce research reports, briefing papers and presentation materials for senior stakeholders.
• Support business development initiatives through target analysis, prospect identification, contact list creation and meeting preparation materials.
• Monitor competitor activity, market developments and emerging trends across key jurisdictions and sectors.
• Develop dashboards, reports and visualisations using Excel, Power BI and other reporting tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across international offices to understand research requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high levels of accuracy and quality.
