Fresenius Medical Care is a people business. We are seeking a skilled payroll specialist to manage end-to-end payroll for employees in Poland within a multinational healthcare group.

You will handle monthly payroll calculations, statutory reporting to ZUS and Tax Office, and ensure compliance with Polish labour laws while collaborating with HR and Finance across the organization. You will process hires/terminations, monitor regulatory updates, support audits, and pursue process improvements in

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in end-to-end payroll processing for Poland.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees in Poland.
• Independently calculate monthly payroll, including salaries, bonuses, overtime, sick leave, parental leave, and other employee absences.
• Prepare and submit payroll-related declarations and statutory reports to relevant authorities (ZUS, Tax Office, GUS, PFRON).
• Ensure accurate calculation of personal income tax, social security contributions, and employee benefits in line with Polish legislation.
• Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data accuracy within HR and payroll systems.
• Process payroll changes related to hires, terminations, compensation changes, leaves, and organizational updates.
• Serve as the main point of contact for employees and managers regarding payroll-related matters.
• Monitor changes in Polish labor law, tax regulations, and social security requirements, ensuring payroll processes remain compliant.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing payroll documentation and providing explanations.
• Identify opportunities for payroll process improvements and support implementation of best practices.
• Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll operations.
