Job summary

Footballco is seeking an organized HR Manager for Poland to oversee end-to-end HR services for around 50 employees. You will manage onboarding through offboarding, payroll liaison, and local compliance while collaborating with our global HR team.

You will lead the Polish e-Akta implementation, ensure GDPR adherence, and digitize personnel records. The role requires strong Polish Labour Law knowledge and fluency in Polish and English, with a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Katowice.

Qualifications

• Proven HR Generalist/HR Manager in Poland with hands-on end-to-end HR operations.
• Deep knowledge of Polish Labour Law, payroll practices, and compliance.
• Experience setting up Polish e-Akta and using eIDAS-qualified signatures.
• Document digitisation, GDPR/RODO compliance, and cross-border HR support.
• Strong collaboration with global HR teams and excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR contact for ~50 Polish employees, handling onboarding to offboarding.
• Coach managers on performance, employee relations, and labour law application.
• Lead the Polish e-Akta setup, configuration, and ongoing GDPR compliance.
• Migrate paper HR archives to e-Akta with scanning, indexing, and e-signatures.
• Maintain 100% compliant electronic personnel records and paperless workflows.
• Draft and manage all employee documentation in line with local regulations.
• Oversee induction, probation, leave, and benefits administration for Poland.
• Support global HR transactions and onboarding/offboarding for employees outside Poland.
• Participate in global HR projects, policy rollouts, and process improvements.
• Update/payroll records in Papaya for Polish employees and perform monthly payroll checks.
