Job summary

Addepar in Warsaw is seeking a Senior People Operations Specialist to establish our local presence and build scalable HR processes within Poland. You will own onboarding and offboarding, advise on Polish labour law, coordinate with the UK team to deliver a superior employee experience, and ensure data accuracy across HR systems.

This hands‑on role requires flexibility, independence, and a proactive approach to evolving HR needs. Applicants must be eligible to work in Poland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced global tech company.
• Ability to make decisions independently and solve problems on the spot.
• Sensitive handling of confidential information is required.
• Experience with HR systems, ideally Workday and Google Suite.
• Solid knowledge of Polish employment laws, guidelines, and compliance.
• Interest in collaborating with multiple EMEA locations.
• Fluent Polish and English (verbal and written).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the local labour law and statutory requirements expert.
• First point of contact for HR & Workplace Ops inquiries from Poland employees.
• Collaborate with Workplace Operations to maintain in-office experience and safety.
• Assist with benefits and perks programs and renewal planning.
• Own the end-to-end local onboarding experience and manage offboarding processes.
• Partner with UK-based People Business Partners on employee relations matters.
• Provide administration for HR systems (e.g., Workday).
• Maintain clean, audit-ready employee data in HRIS.
• Help adapt global company culture to local nuances and foster an inclusive environment.
• Advise on local immigration requirements and resolve related issues.
• Manage local vendor relationships.
• Assist with customizing global HR policies to fit Polish framework.
