Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking an IT 2nd Level Support (all genders) to join our Mechanical Design Automation Product team. The role supports R&D with production data release and PLM projects across global subsidiaries, primarily for the American market, with a start time between 9:30 and 10:00.

The internal contract title is PLM Solution Specialist. You will provide tier 2 support, improve processes, and train users on new functionalities within a global, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Fluency in English, minimum C1 level.
• Familiarity with change management processes (CMII/ITIL) and experience developing installation scripts for global distribution is desirable.
• Independent and precise work style with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end solution from creating product designs in 3D CAD systems to releasing them in Teamcenter.
• Provide tier 2 support in close collaboration with tier 1 power users.
• Identify improvement areas in functionalities, performance, automation, user-friendliness, and robustness.
• Contribute to the evolution of global process templates and quality checks.
• Support installation of MCAD applications including Teamcenter integrations.
• Maintain documentation and execute test scripts.
• Support upgrade projects through all phases until production delivery.
• Conduct user training for new functionalities.
