Sii Poland is seeking an experienced automation engineer to develop and commission Beckhoff-based control systems for transport and manufacturing projects. You will work across the full project cycle, including programming, testing, and on-site commissioning in Berlin with potential Dresden support.

The role requires 4+ years in Beckhoff PLC programming, TwinCAT 3 expertise, and ability to travel ~60% of the year. Polish fluency and Poland-based residency are necessary.

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of Beckhoff PLC programming experience.
Higher technical education: Automation, Robotics, Mechatronics or related.
Experience in TwinCAT 3 programming and PLC development.
Willingness to travel about 60% of the year, including to Germany.
English proficiency at B2 level.
Polish fluency is required.
Based in Poland with a valid category B driving license.

Job description

Join the team working on advanced projects in the field of process automation for transport, material handling, and assembly. We create solutions used in modern manufacturing plants and logistics centers, where reliability, efficiency, and precision are crucial. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and commissioning of control systems based on Beckhoff technology, participating in the full project cycle – from programming and testing to commissioning directly at the client’s site.

Approximately 60% of the time throughout the year will be spent traveling to clients in the Berlin and Dresden areas. Projects are most often carried out in a model of 3 weeks onsite, followed by about a week off in Poland.
